Yeah, because anything that doesn't work is always 100% on the players and the coach never, ever, has a thing to do with anything that doesn't work. Tell me that isn't your stance every single time it comes up.Nothing. Our pass protection was just better in the second half.
Also, maybe I'm crazy but we ran the exact same play for Harrison Bryant in the first half and the first drive of the second half.
I don't think KS had two different game plans or called a different game in the second half. The O-Line was just better at executing and it allowed DW4 to be himself.

I agree that bringing back Woods would be a travesty.A browns reporter suggested bringing woods back, but hiring a former coach to be an assistant head coach, and advisor to the defense, at that point if you need all that why even bother. Just hire someone else. I wouldn't care if they bring woods back or fire him.

I'm talking about in the mind of Los with that statement. Not in reality, not even in the mind of any other poster here..Not 100%, no.
But the percentages of plays - particularly offensively - that don't work because of a poor player execution is a lot higher than you seem to think it is.
And i know this is a Browns forum and they're the only team we care about in this context, but bad execution being a bigger problem than bad scheme offensively really applies across the entire NFL because of the simple fact defense is reactionary to offense.
The best hope for a defense on most plays is someone not executing their assignment offensively. Obviously defenses can make this more difficult by having talented players and trying to continuously attack weaker offensive players (typically blockers).
For what it's worth, there's growing chatter about Woods being kept on.
