JJ3 constantly has been making the wrong play when he's supposed to be the deep safety all goddamn year long. For a vet to constantly make the wrong read like that is so frustrating.

What makes me laugh is they were incredibly successful yesterday early playing a mix of man, and when they went to soft quarters, the shit dripped down their leg like this rep.

The curse of Joe Woods is that when he understood how to be in, they were on. And then all of a sudden, he’d let up, and just like that…


Anyway, new DC- I need someone who occasionally is willing to bring more than 4, willing to move Myles around to keep defenses guessing, and who preaches gang tackling until they are blue in the face. Don’t care the name.
 
Should have been gone week 4 but that's alright. We can use Woods's tenure as an assurance to any new DC that they will get their opportunity to make things work.

Everytime I hear the name Jerod Mayo, I instantly think of Je'Rod Cherry, and I cringe at the thought of him as DC. It always takes me a few to realize that Mayo isn't a current Browns media member.

If Mayo is the best person for the job, sign me up (I know Cherry isn't). I do hope that whomever they pick establishes a pipeline so we can have some semblance of consistency as the DC gets poached for an HC job.

That's one of the reasons I prefer Fangio.

He isn't going to leave for a head coaching gig. At this point in his career, he's been there done that.

This would be nice, assuming success.

On the other hand, we should be so lucky our DC does such a great job they get considered for HC jobs elsewhere. :chuckle:
