Who?

PS: I'm hoping to get out to a couple games but I have a real busy summer ahead of me.

If you can, go for it!

A lot of talent on this squad in Santana, Weglarz, Mills, Rivero, Rondon, etc

*UPDATED* Akron won Saturday night 12-2.. Offense still struggled, however, with just 6 hits.. although they did draw a bunch of walks, which is always a good sign

Aeros off to a good 3-1 start

Akron winners last night, 7-6..

Bullpen (for the most part) continues to dominate.. Lofgren started, gave up 8 baserunners in just 4 innings (4 walks), but allowed just 1 run.

Aeros played early today.

Carlos Santana with the grand slam, Hector Rondon pitches a gem, 4-1 I think the final was.

*UPDATED*

Akron won early today (thanks cm), 4-1

Carlos Santana led the offense (as previously mentioned by cm) with a grand slam in the 1st (2 hr, 10 rbi) and that's all the Aeros needed

As mentioned (cm), Rondon had a terrific outing, going 5 2/3 strong, giving up just 1 run on 4 hits (1 walk, 5 K's)

Bullpen superb, as usual, going 3 1/3 scoreless innings.. Carlton Smith made his 1st appearance, throwing 1 1/3 perfect innings.. Stiller & Pestano (3 svs) followed with a scoreless inning (8th & 9th, respectively) to secure the win

Beau Mills had a great game at the plate, going 3-4 (.240) with his 1st extra base hit of the season.. hopefully that sparks him out of his slump

Niuman Romero also continued his dominance, getting 2 more hits (.412), including his 1st double of the season

wrong thread. nice.

*UPDATED*

The Aeros hitting troubles continue, as they waste another terrific outing by a starting pitcher, managing just 4 hits in a 2-0 loss.

Half of those hits were by leadoff hitter Josh Rodriguez, who went 2-3, to raise his avg to .313

Other than that, nothing got going on the offensive end for the Aeros

Frank Herrmann was the poor starting pitcher who couldn't get any offensive help.. Herrmann went 7 strong innings, allowing just 4 baserunners, while striking out 3.. Unfortunately, he couldn't get any help offensively and the 1 run he allowed in his 7 innings stuck him with the loss, as he drops to 1-1 on the season

The Aeros play tonight @ 7:05

Aeros win 3-1 today.

Welcome to the Carlos Santana Experience. 2 run HR today.
