WIllie Green and Korver get more shots before Iggy.

Eh..wouldn't go that far Iggy is definitely the best player on that team all around. Name something the guy can't do?

He can dunk with the best of them. He can hit the outside shot pretty effectively..he can pull up from mid range..

He's tripled doubled already this season and his defense is very solid..

Korver is a one trick pony..although I'd pay a pretty penny to get him on the Cavs because he's light years more effective shooting 3's than Damon and Donyell..

Willie Green has been pretty solid but he reminds me a lot of John Salmons..who they waited and waited for and eventually cut ties with.

It doesn't replace the fact that Green and Korver have been getting more shots than Iggy.

They like Korver more than Iggy and he hasn't improved at all since his rookie year. So, I dont execpt to see that pattern change.

Actually, looking at the box scores, it doesnt look like anybody but Webber is getting consistant shots.

Carney, Iggy, Green and Korver have all led in shot attempts at one point or another since Iverson has been gone.

Really..

Rookie Year 04-05

PPG 9.0 RBPG 5.7 AST3.0 STL1.7 FT%74.3% 3PT%33.1%

3rd Season 06-07

PPG 15.0 RBPG6.1 AST4.5 STL2.0 FT%79.8% 3PT%34.7%

+6 PPG +.4 RBPG +1.5 AST +.3 STL +5.5% FT% 3PT% 1.6%

He's no LeBron James or Dwyane Wade but he's definitely a great 2nd guy to have...a LeBron's Pippen type of guy..I respect you Mac but it's ignorant to say he hasn't gotten any better.

Put him with LeBron James and he might find his way on the All Star Team..

He really hasn't gotten better....more points doesnt really mean better over all. His 3pt % is barely an improvement and I see you left out his FG%, which has dropped, but none the less...that's irrelevent at the moment.

Over all, a lot of people don't feel he has improved, if you look at all the trade discussions the one player the 6ers said was untouchable was Korver. They didn't mind if they had to trade Iggy because in three years, he hasn't shown the improvement that they thought he should have.

He isnt a bad player by any means, they just expected him to be a lot better than what he was. He was supposed to be AI's sidekick, but that never developed. He has seemed to level off and that's why it wasnt going to be a big deal if they had to trade him.

Take a look at some other players from that draft class:

Deng, 11 PPG on 43% shooting his rookie year to 18 PPG on 54% shooting.

JR Smith, 10 PPG on 39% shooting to 17 PPG on 46% shooting.

Wade, 16 PPG to 27 PPG.

Lebron 20 PPG to 27 PPG, 31 last year.

D Harris, 5 PPG on 42% shooting to 11 PPG on 49% shooting.

Childress 10 PPG on 47% to 13 PPG on 57%.

Obviously Lebron and Wade are on whole different levels, but the common theme is somewhere along the line is each of those players showed drastic improvement in one area or another. Iggy has stayed at the same level, his improvements have been marginal at best.

Nice arguments....but your mixing draft classes here...

[LeBron Wade Darko Melo Bosh Ford Hinrich Collison Sweetney] etc was the 2003 draft

[Deng Childress JR Smith Josh Smith Jameer Nelson Devin Harris Luke Jackson and Iguodla] is the 2004 class

lol...yeah, it's early. I don't how I did that.

Eh take a mulligan it's no big deal..

Cali is like -49 :chuckles:

CDT has a man crush on Iggy. Although he has progressed from his rookie year up until now, just not into a superstar. He's a good player, nothing special.

He's better than his rookie year, but not as good as he was projected to be.

Iguodala has scored 27 27 and 31 in his last three fellas...

Here's the line for tonight..

A. Iguodala Points: 31 Reb: 4 Ast: 9 Stl: 1 Blk: 1

I would trade Hughes for Iggy any day of the week

Iggy is an excellent defender and athlete and a good distributer

he is a less skilled version of Scottie Pippen

any decent PG with Iggy and LeBron and we would be ridiculous good.....its a shame its only a pipe dream though

Philly already had there term with Hughes...no way thatll happen.

In Jesus' name Amen..

Yeah Hughes will never be in Phili again.

Iggy and LBJ dunking on people all night. That would be fun to watch.
