When do you guys generally do your drafting foe your leagues.

I've got one next Thursday (20th) and one on August 28th.

So as far as keepers go, here's a question for you guys...

I don't know the exact values of some of the players since our league manager won't be sending them out until the end of the week or so, so I'll have to estimate. We can keep three players at whatever we drafted them last year plus a dollar, or two dollars for free agents (it might be one dollar...I don't remember and it's inconsequential) we picked up during the year.

Here are my keeper options:
Eddie Lacy (~10)
CJ Anderson (2)
Antonio Brown (~15)
Alshon Jeffery (~3)
Jimmy Graham (57)

Other than that, no one is really worth keeping. I don't know the exact values for Lacy and Brown, but I do know that I kept Lacy, Brown, and Jeffery last year for a combined $20, so if I kept all three again the price would be $23.

I feel like Brown and Lacy are no-brainers. They're a RB1 and WR1 respectively and I have them at bargain basement prices. So the question is, do I keep Anderson or Jeffery? I threw Graham on there because he's effectively one of two elite TEs in the NFL, and he may see significant targets in Seattle, but honestly, I'd probably rather just bid on him again and keep one of the other guys. I'd probably pay the same thing for Graham regardless, but there's no way I'd get Jeffery or Anderson for less than five bucks.

Which three would you guys choose?

Knowing your league rules would help with the decision, but as Surge said, without knowing anything, Lacy, Anderson, Brown.

Alshon is gonna be tricky this year. He is now their clear #1. How is Wilson actually gonna be? Is White gonna come back early & healthy and actually be a threat in the NFL? If not, Alshon will be covered up like Bruce Jenner. He still has the talent, but he won't crush it and get open as much.

And good call on Graham. Having a Gronk/Graham is nice, and if you can get them at a great position/$ amount, then jump on it. But all I really do is find a TE late in the draft that can get me on avg. ~6-7pts/gm. Whoever I choose will have his bad days, and his 16pt. games, but instead of overpaying or jumping on a TE in round 1-3, you can get another quality WR1/2 or RB1/2.

My two drafts are the night of Sept 5th and then Sept 6th.The one draft we used to do a lot earlier but we finally moved it a couple of years ago. One year I drafted 3 players who all got injured in the next week of preseason and one was out for the season.

Yeah, forgot to include the rules. It's a .5 PPR league, but other than that everything is pretty much standard as far as rules go.

Since I went into last year's draft having only spent twenty bucks of my 250 budget and already having three starting spots filled with that amount (I kept Jeffery, Lacy, and Brown, as mentioned above), I was a little more prone to spend heavily on an elite TE than I would in a straight auction with no keepers.

If I keep Lacy, Anderson, and Brown, it will cost me $24 of my $250 total. Seems pretty worth it. :chuckle:

I've got to keep 2 guys for my keeper league... my options are

Kind of need to know the cost of keeping them.

2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex player

RB & WR scoring
10 yds rush: 1 pt
2 pt conversion: 2 pts
TD: 6 pts

14 team league. 2 keepers per team. No cost involved in the players. Just pick the best 2.
