Who would you vote for at this moment? I'm for Obama.

Does it matter?

Repubs have screwed the American public since Bush took over and a Democratic house has not changed anything.

Do like me and not even be registered to vote.

Wow you have to be kidding me:mad:! People have died to give you the right to vote and you dont?? Your pathetic! Our system of government may have some holes but not voting is a crime to all those who gave their lives before you. Would you rather live in a society where one man tells you what to do, how to dress, and who you can talk to?

The two guys both suck...

What about the 3rd option guy?

Being prior military, I don't care if you vote or not, but if you do not vote you have Zero rights to bitch about anything.

No, I am not kidding you. I have voted and it's pretty clear my vote does not make a difference.

In the past, you could make a solid case for your vote making a difference. Now, it's all agenda driven (which does not have the people in mind when made) and I could care less who wins because it doesn't change anything.

Ill stick to voting for things that affect me, like a school levy, more police on the streets etc..etc..

p.s. we aren't Cuba, we do not run a capitalistic society so one man is not telling me what to do etc. Preaching on that is rather a waste of time.

p.s.s. find me somebody worth voting for and I'd change my mind. Til somebody has the nuts to say Iraq is a waste of time and focuses our resources to American issues, the economy and tax relief to big corporations so we can actually have a strong labor force, funding money to our shit ass educational system, and stop the rich from getting richer and the middle class being stuck in the backside and I might care. Til then, being middle class, the government and those that run it have no interest in you.

Remember, Florida 2000, or Ohio 2004? What about New Mexico in 2004 as well? C'mon.

So vote for your agenda.

Capitalistic? You mean authoritarian?

Have you not seen any of Obama's speeches? He's saying exactly what your asking to hear! If you haven't I suggest you start with his acceptance speech last Thursday on YouTube. I'd also check out the last 4 Democratic Presidential Debates. Obama touches all these issues repeatedly. And just for inspiration, watch the Speech on Race from Philly. That's on YouTube as well..

You should vote Obama..

lol, I meant to say communist, not sure why I said capitalistic.

And when a politician does what they say, is when I will also vote. Add that to my list of requirements.

You see the logical fallacy of that argument right? I mean, chicken and egg, ya know?

Who the F**K is voting for McCain?!? C'mon.

Some people just can't be changed. They are afraid of something new. They are afraid of the "libs" and the "socialists." They like the status quo. Why do they like the status quo? It's probably a combination of how they were raised and their current situations. A lot of McCain voters value national security over domestic concerns like health care. A lot of McCain voters are strict free market capitalists with little regard to government intervention in the name of social justice. Some are just plain afraid of having a minority president. There's a whole host of reasons, some of which are valid, some of which are not.

Besides you're trying to appeal to a demographic of mostly white males from the midwest (I'm assuming)--typically a traditional/conservative bunch, many of whom value tradition over innovation.

Keep trying to fight the good fight; just keep it friendly and don't alienate too many people ;)
