Why do I feel like nobody is taking the Indians to task for calling an audible on this entire renovation?

I work for an advertising agency that provides renderings to our clients on a daily basis. And I can't seem to come up with a reason why you'd go public with a rendering that won't look anything like the finished product?Explain your view of what calling an "audible" would mean here. Are you upset the bars aren't topped with lacquered wood?
The top is a "rendering" from a design firm who had preliminary specs on the stadium. Things happen when you get in there and actually begin working. You can almost find an inconsistency with any rendering because it's done to appease folks and give them an idea of what to expect. The top photo isn't a blueprint.

I don't mean to swing my dick here, but you're talking to someone in a similar industry (albeit not architectural design)... Yes, when you're mocking up artist renderings there will always be discrepancies from the finished product.
The problem is that this looks like an altogether concept overhaul.
IMO: Resurfacing the floor, exposed brick, color splash, and several structural differences from the counter, itself, to the ceilings/awnings, etc.I guess I'm just not seeing the overhaul like you are. I, too, am familiar with renderings and development and I suppose I'm just used to reality not being as utopic as renderings make it seem..
What do you see that is a complete overhaul?
