PS3 opinions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It would be sweet if PSN would give us 2 free (ANY) games...
MW3 and BF3 :D

Don't hold your breath on new games. $120 x 77 million customers = $9.24 BILLION .... that's a lot of hooch.

Anyone know what their "Welcome Back" package is gonna look like?

I bought my PS3 the day they got hacked. I got it home to set it up and learned the network was down. I don't imagine I'll be eligible for the free games since I didn't have an existing account. Has anyone seen any more details?

I'm attempting to change my password right now. I guess you can't do it on the PS3, at least I'm not seeing where, so I'm just going to try and do it online.

As far as the DLC goes -- I can't wait to find out what it is. I hope it's some cool shit... (like Flower, but not as stupid)

I want some sexy looking HD stuff, since it will obviously not be an ACTUAL $60 game.

Can someone post when the DLC comes out? I 'forget' to check on it I guess...

I was able to change my password on my system. I went to sign in and I was prompted to change my password, I did that, and then I was able to play online straight away.

For some reason, my younger brother has had the same problem you have. Who knows why.

I changed it through the web because I wanted to check my account info. Sure enough they were remembering my credit card number. I was told (for what it's worth) by someone behind the counter at gamestop that she read that they didn't have the security codes stored. So perhaps somebody might try to forge a card and use it at a brick & mortar shop. That is if the numbers got out ...

It took a few hours to get the confirmation email, btw.

As far as changing your pw on the console goes -- if you're getting the error code, just keep going back and trying until it allows you to. I'm guessing it was just a log-jam with all the people around the world trying to log-in at the same time. That's how I eventually got it to work.

Still awaiting word on the "Welcome Back" pack. I guess they won't be revealing it until everyone around the world has access. I read somewhere that Japan was holding out until they saw progress with Sony for their security issues. Who knows... we'll see soon enough I suppose!

Thank you again for your support!

sorta disappointed in the games...none of them interest me one bit... all are atleast 2-3 years old... Wasn't expecting much, but this is weak....

inFAMOUS is a no-brainer if you don't have it. LittleBigPlanet was well reviewed and liked I just never bought it because I never much liked the platformer genre. Also LBP2 is already out. I think the other were all downloadable games? I'm not sure any of them stand out.

Does anyone know where you can find Ps3's cheap? I'm gonna need another one.

Wow... those games are much better than I had anticipated! Getting inFAMOUS for sure... and probably WipeOut HD Fury.

Then since my gf has an account, I'll get LBP and probably Super Stardust HD. Not positive on Super Stardust... but it seems like I already have Dead Nation in the form of Black Ops zombies?

From someone dumping theirs so they can enjoy the privilege of paying monthly for network access?

They are (or were?) $100 off at GameStop with a coupon that PowerUp members should have.
