Quinn Cook?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron + Duke alum = Titles. Come through Quinn.

I'm watching him play against the Sixers right now. I'm pretty impressed. He plays above his size and is a great drive-and-dish player. His shooting could use work, but I think that would improve when he's not the sole creator on the court.

He's normally a great shooter. He's been struggling a bit with that on the D-League Select team. But I believe with the Charge he shot extremely well, and he certainly did at Duke.

We have no contractual relationship to him any more, do we?

Yeah, his shot is one of his strengths. He's just slumping right now.

I was told a couple months ago, no.

But, I believe he will be back with the Charge, unless a team like the Nets call.

Cook is getting an NBA contract.
He is a step and a half ahead of everyone in the SL. Played very well tonight.

Would rather have Norris Cole. He's a better better right now and that's what we need. Felder is our prospect. He's not good enough to play in the playoffs yet. Cole is. (Not that he'd have a big role.)

Sooo, Quinn had 49 and 11 asts last night for the Charge.

Can't the Cavs just give him a chance?

Thanks to the Mo Williams situation, our roster is full at 15, so we can't even give Quinn a 10-day look see without cutting someone else.

NBADL success is not a good predictor of NBA success. So, it comes down to talent evaluation. Whether Griff can be convinced Quinn can do things for us that someone on the roster presently cannot.

If we dial back to Summer League and look at how Kay performed .vs. how Quinn performed, I would think not ... but things do change.
