I am hoping the pick gets used in a trade to sweeten the deal. I don't see it coming soon either. I thought the Casspi trade was good at first, but now I wish we had flipped him to San Antonio for anything.

They don't need to make the playoffs. They just need to accidentally win enough games to knock them out of the bottom ten or so.

I believe we were all saying this while he was averaging 16.2 points & 11.3 rebounds over the last 46 games of the '10-'11 season too..

But he was turning the corner though. It's not his fault that the Cavs traded him to that mess in Sacramento.

They do need the Vet Presence. Is it Andy? I don't see it, but, I think that is very worth the chance to take on Cousins. If he was available you have to take a chance on him.

Agreed. He's a player you absolutely roll the dice on. Too much talent to pass up on.

I think the main problem with Sacramento is that there is literally no leadership on that team. The players don't respect the coach and there isn't a mature leader in the locker room. Would Cousins have the same issues here with Scott and Irving on the team?

I watched that Sac/Clipper game last night. The Kings actually played alot looser in the 2nd half without Cousins. (Not knocking Cousins because he was a beast the game before against the Warriors). I was actually really impressed with Jimmer. He won't ever be a good defensive player but he's really a crafty little scorer. The Clips had to put CP3 back in at the end of the game to play some defense on Fredette.

As far as Cousins is concerned he's a great talent but has a $.05 brain. Maybe he can eventually turn it around with a change of scenery but then again maybe he's just the reincarnation of Derrick Coleman. Most of these guys who get labelled as knuckleheads early on typically never get it.

Kings Suspend Cousins Indefinitely

Geoff Petrie announced on Saturday that DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended indefinitely by the Sacramento Kings due to "unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team."

Cousins and Keith Smart had a verbal altercation during halftime of the Kings' 97-85 loss to the Clippers on Friday.

And if we trade andy for cousins, exactly where would the leadership he would need be on this team? If his problem is being on a team with no leaders, bringing him to this extremely young team isnt fixing that. And people, if he cant get along with keith smart, he doesnt have a chance with byron scott. Train wreck waiting to happen.

Dude is the Milton Bradley of the NBA. In fact, that may be unfair to Milton- he at least got along with his teammates. The Cavs only need him if they want a slideshow.

I agree, if you were to trade for a player like Cousins, you need Andy in the locker room.

I'd do Luke Walton, Daniel Gibson, Tristan Thompson, this year's first, and return of Sacramento's first for DeMarcus Cousins, John Salmons, and Chuck Hayes.

I find myself believing that Coach Scott wouldn't have the patience for Cousins and he'd be in his dog house all the time. The talent intrigues the hell out of me and I think he'd be a phenomenal fit next to Andy. I'd actually advocate keeping Andy if we could trade for Cousins.

High risk, high reward scenario. Man, if he would be available, it's hard to not want him.
