Not a hater, I just don't put much stock into last season. Hillis hasn't done anything that makes me think he is all that much better than Hardesty. Not saying we are better without him, because that's not true. But we are 2-0.

Hillis has better hands, better blocking, and doesn't spin on the line of scrimmage for no reason. Hillis just hasn't had a legitimate chance to show himself with injuries and terrible offensive game plans. He is the type of back that should be able to thrive in a WCO with is receiving ability.

He also fumbles, can't avoid contact, constantly gets tripped at the LOS, and his running vision hasn't been all that great this season. In the rare moments he does actually play, you can tell teams are trying to make him a East/West runner. Go back to the Raiders game where Thomas sealed the edge and Hillis was too damn slow to burst through the hole and the play got blown up. Hardesty is far from perfect. His vision is worse and he isn't the pass catcher Hillis is. But he does have the ability to avoid contact and make something out of nothing. He got stuffed a good amount yesterday, but a few of those runs 5 yard runs he got Hillis wouldn't been able to pull off. People are forgetting that Seattle is the best run defense in the NFL right now. The only difference Hillis really could have made is in the passing game and the new guy did great in that area.

Man, you are the biggest Hillis hater and I don't really understand why. Do you know how great of a year he had last year? Every game Hillis gets what 10 carries? Thats not the way to use him, I think his stats prove he's much, much more effective when he gets over 20 carries. If you commit to using Peyton Hillis like they did Hardesty yesterday he's going to produce. If Hillis isn't okay, I'd like to use chris ogbonnaya because Hardesty did not impress.

About the same as the year Reuben Droughns had for us in 05?

My being done is a little different than this guy's being done. My done is watching about 5-6 games a year and purposely travelling on Sundays so that I miss games. This guy really does seem to watch every minute of every game.
