As much as I want us to win and win big this year and as much as that is still very much wide open for us, for me, the biggest narrative of this story is Kluber, Carrasco, and Bauer all stabilizing with seasons as good or similar to last year. If that can be accomplished and we know the we have that type of consistent front end of the rotation starting pitching locked in for 4-5 year at minimum, then all other things are possible and can be built around that.
Beyond that, it would be encouraging to see Salazar up by mid May and getting 2-3 out of every 4 starts as quality starts. He needs to get off the yo-yo and establish whether he is someone that can be a consistent starter over the course of multiple years.
