An actual bench would play better D than this bench.
Lol

Was going to post that I'm all for a Delonte West return. But I'll submit Lucious Harris. Signed as a FA after being waived by Nets and averaged 4.3 pts on 40% shooting. Sadly I could call him a current upgrade.
Starting for who? Starting for the Cavs - sure - but that's because our goal is to rebuild from the draft.
But maybe I misunderstood what you meant by average or 1/2 average. If you just meant not D league scraps ... sure, carry on. If you meant average for a bench player, you're probably short selling Jamison/Parker and yes, giving some of the younger players too much credit.
until you have harangody, casspi and Samuels getting 15 minutes a game theres not really any consistency in playing together that will give them any consistency on the court.
Scott is still in preseason mode with the bench.
zellers return most lkely will allow the cavs to start establishing some sort of cohesive unit on the bench.
The organizations thought process needs to be questioned.
It's year 3 for Samuels, year 4 for Casspi and year 3 for Harangody (have they said why they made a QO to a guy they wont even make active?). All the Cavaliers did was pump up Samuels' weight loss and Casspi's summer. They talked up Sloan and kept the salary dump in Pargo. They spent a month wooing CJ Miles (what did happen with Shved?) and their so called developmental center project is a 24 year old who did nothing in college, nothing in summer league and nothing in training camp.
These are the players they felt comfortable and their evaluations have been a disaster.
If they fall more than 12 games out of a playoff spot...
It may not be long, even though they're 1 game out today. :chuckles:
I'm pretty sure the big LH being best friend's with Kyrie has something to do with this. You're going to have some pretty bad players at the end of the bench and you might as well get something out of them
