While I can't say Atlanta scares me; I do feel like it would be some next level trolling by God if they put us out. Weaken the top two team in the East by taking away their best player (Indy and Chi), only to lose to a group of career role players.we need a thread like this for Atlanta. i thought even before the Rose injury that's the team to keep an eye on and it has nothing to do with their record. teams that can get hot from 3 and run a nice offense (Golden State, Atlanta, San Antonio...) scare me way more than Chicago to be honest. i also don't think their frontcourt is a great matchup for us...

If that's the case, then how many champs ever really "truly proved" they won? I bet I can go through every opponent of every championship team and find at least one injury to a important player. Wether it be for one game or the whole seriesThat is absolute nonsense, dude. Whether we had to go through an average Bulls team or not en route to a championship is beyond irrelevant. "Truly proved"....dear lord.
Multiple reports according to sources say that the MRI also revealed an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic that has been roughly translated as "Cavs in 5". More information to follow.
Agree to disagree. Obviously I won't care too much if we win a championship, but there's going to be people out there (primarily Bulls fans) saying we only won because Rose got injured. Not saying they would have beaten us even if he did play, but it's be cool to know that we beat the Bulls at absolute full strength and truly proved what our team could do to the mac. I don't know, maybe that's just me.
I see it like a video game. Who wants to play on easy mode? There's no fun in that because you want a challenge. Not saying this won't be tough but to have to go through a healthy Eastern Comference would surely me a lot more challenging. You don't have to agree that's just how I feel. There are these things in sports known as "breaks." Every team that wins a championship needs and gets these "breaks" and takes advantage of them. Many times these "breaks" include injuries to the top players on leading opponents- like in 2009, when the Lake Show's path to a title was smoothed by Kevin Garnett's injury. These "breaks" are generally considered to be good things by the teams that get them.
Ugh, that hit me right in the feels. They were so confident, and now they're as low as you can get. When Kyrie looked like he got a season ending injury against OKC earlier this year I almost had a heart attack. Can't imagine what they're feeling. This injury isn't good for anyone, not even the Cavs. Now, if we get to the Finals, there's always going to be the "what if Derrick was healthy" question… It's a travesty.
