But what is annoying as hell is how it has become this omnipresent phenomenon, from the ESPY's, to getting bombarded with shit like the latest dress he's wearing, or how "beautiful" he is, etc..

Give it a damn rest already. If we're being honest (god forbid), he really looks pretty much like some hag in her 60's trying to look much younger than she is. And is that something that usually commands major airtime, and false compliments? No.

Nobody would normally bother commenting at all on some post-menopausal women caking on tons of makeup except, when we were lucky, Joan Rivers. But now we should all care, just because it's "Kaitlyn".

And that's not even toughing on the whole Ms. Doubtfire aspect of it. I'm sick of hearing about it, and I want the Republic of Kaitlyn not for him to live in , but for all those PC celebrity chasers/commentators/PC warrior social media hounds who can't shut the hell up about it.



Oh, I think it makes much better sense considering the context, and it's absurd to actually boo someone for actually considering people as people rather than as members of racial groups. The idea that concern about police violence should be dependent on the color of the victim's skin is absurd, and offensive.

It's been pointed out here before that lots and lots of white people are shot by cops too. So, what's wrong with a message to law enforcement regarding how they should treat all citizens, and without regard to the color of their skin?

I don't have a problem with black folks in black neighborhoods who feel persecuted saying "black lives matter." I do have a problem with white liberals and black race-pimps claiming there is something offensive about others echoing concerns about police behavior in general with "all lives matter."

Aren't black lives just plain lives too? I've always thought so. And honestly, the message isn't just "cops should treat black people the same way they treat white people", because that's only half the problem. The problem is that would still result in people of all races sometimes being wrongly shot.

It's not an issue about which just people should be concerned. It's an issue about which everyone should be concerned.

OF COURSE "lives matter." And yes, many might say "All lives matter." And yes you can investigate ALL instances of police brutality. That's great. But many are reluctant to specifically say "Black lives matter," because Black Lives do not matter as much, and that's the fucking point.

Again, to the point, it is specifically illegal for police departments to target specific racial groups. The chant "Black lives matter" is, again, specifically about Black people being targeted.

Police departments aren't targeting White people.

MLK advocated racial awareness and Black Liberation theology, not colorblindness, but color awareness, to the point where we could see each other for who we are yet not judge each other for differences of pigmentation (or anything else). To be colorblind is to be ignorant of the world, that's a key point of Black Liberation theology.
