He would have been better than Colt, thats for sure. Aaron Rodgers has a great arm, scarmbling ability, and can read defenses better than most quarterbacks in the league. What does Colt do well? Do you honestly believe that if it had been Colt behind Favre, the Packers would still be as successful as they have been? Put Colt on the Packers and they don't sniff the playoffs.

Yeah, but Rogers had a couple seasons to watch tape, develop and build some chemistry with the team, having the same system also helps. That's all without even playing since he had to sit behind Favre. Rogers also has a way better receiving core than the Browns have ever had.

I have no idea if Colt has a future here, but comparing him to Rogers and GB in anyway isn't a fair comparison.

To be fair Pav3Ball didn't start the comparison to Rodgers. Triple did.

Aaron Rodgers was a 1st round pick that was billed with a ton of potential. Colt was a 3rd round pick. Lets not get it twisted here, there aren't many 3rd round quarterbacks that get as many games to prove themselves as Colt. Do some of you really believe if Colt was tutored by Favre, he could still be a franchise QB? Sorry, but I don't see it. He has too many weaknesses. He can improve on his decision making and accuracy, but he is always going to be a short QB with poor arm strength and low upside. Im not saying he couldn't improve at all under Favre. But I don't think Triple understands what upside is. And physically, Colt has none of it. He is a Doug Flutie at best if he ever gets it together imo.

The way ESPN is reporting things, Denver or Arizona look to be the only landing spots for Manning. If that is the case, you gotta figure Matt Flynn now moved to the top of Miami's QB list. With the Browns needing a QB and sitting at #4, they can take Tannehill and Miami can do absolutely nothing about it.

Simply put, he's started for ~ a season and a half now and has shown some very positive signs here and there, while also showing negative signs. If Matt Flynn goes elsewhere, I am 100% behind Cleveland starting Colt another season to see his progression with possibly a few new targets/weapons on offense.

He has brought Cleveland some big wins. Whether those were because of him or not doesn't matter, it's the fact that he was leading the offense. I'd like to think that means something.

No care ever. He still 'managed' the game where we beat the Saints. Almost beat the Jets the following week too (lost in OT) had Chansi Stucky not... nevermind
