The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Curious what Bronn is going to do. Is he really going to try to kill his Lannister friends?

I know Bronn wants his money....

I think there's zero chance of that because there's no way in hell he'd trust Cersei. From the moment he did it, she'd be calling him the murderer of her brothers and calling for his head.

Yeah, I can't really think he will. Especially since Tyrion has told him time and time again. No matter what you're offered, I'll always double it.

I got to think he'd trust his friend Tyrion more, than a treacherous bitch like Cersei.

If Bronn killed the Lannister boys and Cersei did pay him off, he'd be in an awesome position to blackmail her. No way she'd let that happen.

If he did what she asked, he'd be a loose end, and she knows it. He's also smart enough to know that Cersei is very likely going to lose anyway.

I don't think Bronn is dumb either. He knew they were out numbered and about to get destroyed in the battle. He knows that the losing side, has more than likely got to be Cersei's.

Cersei won't be worth shit if she's dethrone and killed. Tyrion already offered him again the position, and he really thought about it.

Jaime is gone, and about till spill the beans. So her slight advantage is about to go to waste.

If the dude has sense, I'd be on the side with the dragons.

To be fair, at this point no one knows if the side with the dragons will even survive the battle against the army of the dead.

If I were Bronn I'd take my bag of gold and get the fuck out of dodge.

My guess whatever the hell Arya is having Genry make her will somehow kill the ice dragon?

Nah, no chance. This is going to be the final culmination of Bronn's "mercenary" arc. He'll go from saying he'll do whatever for money, depending on the amount of payment, to choosing his companions over that payment (that Cersei probably wouldn't give him in the end anyways).

I don't think he's going to either, because Cersei isn't one to trust. They'll probably build it up like he's really going to, then double cross Cersei.

Didn't Qyburn say the gold was already in a cart outside?

Some sort of projectile weapon.

Sam just had to scratch that WW with the dragon glass and it exploded right? Maybe a little dart will blast it right out of the sky.

Looks like a blow dart or spear thrower to me. No scale on that drawing lol

Here we go:

"Later in that same episode, Bran touches the roots of the Heart Tree without the aid of the Three-Eyed Raven and travels to a snowy version of this scene, where the Night King has assembled his army. This is the moment that the Night King sees Bran, brands him, and all hell breaks loose."

So, I think...the first thing he saw when he went in alone was this symbol. Then he saw the NK and his army and got touched.

Yep, here it is:

Oh my god I never put this together.

So..wow.

Back to what I was saying a few days, the Mountain that the group beyond the Wall is seeking out.

Game-Of-Thrones-mountain-beyond-the-Wall.jpg

The Mountain where the Children created the Night King, which is the location that we see in that video above when Bran touches the tree.

Same Mountain. And just in case you weren't totally sure

You can see it in the background.

So now, let's REALLY think about the HOund seeing that Mountain in the flames. Telling him to go right there. And let's really think about who sent him that message. It's either Bran or the Night King, by mistake or on purpose, but it wasn't some magical R'hllor.

I'm gonna do a big, long re-read of just the things Melisandre sees in the flames and then see how it compares with things Bloodraven or Bran are looking at.

I've long wondered if the things seen in the flames are just kinda magical outputs of what Bran and Bloodraven are doing. NOt really intended. Kinda like when your walkie talkie picks up a phone conversation. ACtually, exactly like when your walkie talkie picks up a phone conversation.

Just off the top of my head, in the show, she sees the Army of the Dead in the flames. Well, who the fuck else keeps looking at the Army of the Dead?

In the books, she sees, I THINK, the Wall fall to a dragon (shadow flame and towers falling into the sea and a mass of bodies). Well, who else saw that?

She keeps looking for R'hllor's champion in the books but "all she sees is snow."

WELL who else kept seeing Jon, including when he was born underneath a bleeding star?

It's the most out of character moment. No one knows how treasurous Cersei is better than Tyrion. Then it doesn't even dawn on him she could be lying. The same woman that plotted to have him killed twice.

The same woman that always schemes behind everyone's back, and then the enemy ends up dead!

He'd trust her word?

Does Tyrion have amnesia or does he need a Westeros intervention.

I dunno man when he said that to Sansa that he trusts her he looked down at his feet like a liar would and then Sansa leaves and there's Bran giving him the eyes with the music dropping to a dark undertone.

I dunno if he didn't know or not...I have my doubts.
