Trade Deadline ––> Waiver/Buyout Deadline 2015 (March 1)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thoughts on JaVale if he is bought out? I also don't think another back up PG is a pressing need, Id rather get Perkins + McGee (grumpy just till McGee is fully healthy).

On an unrelated note, too bad we dont have a need for a backup PF. Id looooove Darrell Arthur on this team.

I have no doubt this is incorrect. There will be times when one of them is on the bench resting or in foul trouble. The other will be doubled - another competent ball handler who can create for the offense will be very helpful.

how many games in LBJ's life has he been in foul trouble.. how many times all year have he or Kyrie been in foul trouble...Jr and Shump can handle the ball...so can Delly... Cole is very good on defense... mediocre at best on offense IMO

LeBron sat half of the 2nd quarter today wremy lol. I don't trust Shump's ball handling skills. Delly has the ball handling skills but isn't effecient enough to create offensively.

At first I wanted McGee over Mozgod, but damn Moz can do more.

McGee has another year left on his contract, so no, I doubt he gets bought out. Why would he agree to it? Plus, Philly may think it's possible for them to extract some more value out of him next year.

And the Haywood for McGee trade is still in play. Cavs can dangle that late 2nd round pick they have. (j/k)

Seriously, personal thoughts on McGee is I wouldn't want him.

On Emeka Okafor, it was reported a while back he likely wouldn't play this year.

Turns out it's the same story for Jermaine O'Neal.

Darrell Arthur: I mean, he has really never been very good. Shoots a lot and not very well. Maybe in a good system you could minimize his weaknesses and play up his strengths, but I can't believe the Cavs would be interested.

Brandon Bass: Many have speculated he'd be bought out, but early signs are that this won't happen. Doubt the Cavs would be particularly interested in an undersized PF anyway.

My sense is the Cavs want a a true big man, a guy who can legitimately play center.

Just to confirm... there have been a ton of posts since the deadline...
To add Perk and Allen, the Cavs would have to waive a player.
We know they wont do it to Jones, Miller or Marion. (Miller right now looks as bad as he has looked all year) Honestly, he should seriously consider ending his career after this summer.
I really hope they dont let Harris go. I still think he has a shot to even help this team this playoff run in a game or 2. His release has seemed quicker recently in limited play.

Javale would be my first choice if he was bought out -- unfortunately, I don't think the 76ers have any reason to do it - they are under the minimum salary, so if they reached a buyout with McGee they won't save any money, right (they will just have to distribute it to their other players)?

Perkins is probably the best bet for this team, then either D'Alembert or Blatche.

Not to mention that McGee has another year. He's a 12 mil expiring next year. Why lose that chip for nothing?

McGee also gives Philly a chance to trade Noel once Embiid is back fully fit. McGee can then be a back-up for Embiid and Philly can trade Noel for a wing-player or a point guard.

Was listening to sports radio out here in LA after the deadline and the hosts were so sure Perk would end up with the Clips after his buyout..Never thought I'd say this about Perkins but he would be a big get for this team...
