Hilarious listening to JVG go on and on about how he can't believe he doesn't have many defensive rebounds with so many offensive boards. Just an example of the national guys needing some time to catch up to who the players are beyond the big three. That has been Tristian since he was drafted.
 
I'm willing to bet that the Cavaliers think that once Thompson hits the open market and sees the offers he will get, they will get Thompson for less than he was asking for.

I know you guys don't want to hear this, but I've been hearing the same as Windhorst - It won't get done tonight.

Cavs will most likely be matching any offer he receives next summer.

But, if Miami somehow puts a big offer for Thompson....

He keeps playing the way he has this preseason and early this regular season, someone is going to sign him to a very large offer sheet.
