I loved this quote:
If LeBron is the wrecking ball, Thompson is the chain allowing him to swing over and over again.

i really, really wish we could have held that lead from the 3rd. they would have quit like the hawks. itd be over.
to an extent.. also illegal as fuck screens. but they earned a good bit of it too. That comeback was basically lucky tough contested shots...
Guys will get hot and starting hitting contested shots. We witness this with jr every once in awhile. It is however not sustainable for anybody. If the guy makes it, just tip the cap and continue to not give him any air space.to an extent.. also illegal as fuck screens. but they earned a good bit of it too.
i was ALMOST going to say 'hitting contested shots is what they do', but they really dont. i think steph is 30% on contested in the playoffs.
I wouldn't say lucky but I would say tough shots and if GS are going to run those types of plays, I'm all for it. 4 guys at the 3 point line setting screens and a pull up 3 pointer? Sure sure. You can have that shot all day Curry. Just remember if you miss, no chance of any 2nd chance points and on the other side, David Lee and Demonstrative Green will get their asses beat down low. That comeback was basically lucky tough contested shots...
As much as I like Tristan, i think we're going to have to give him up if he's asking for max or close to max. I'd rather go for another legit superstar at max...
Not sure of the per year breakdown, but Rodman only made $27 million over his career. That's not including endorsements, just salary. What kinds of contracts did Dennis Rodman get back in his day?
Obviously he was paid less than TT is about to be paid due to increasing salaries over the years, but I mean like comparable to the rest of the players in that era, how much was he paid?
Just trying to gauge how much TT should be paid. He's definitely elite in terms of hitting the boards and he's above average defensively, but I just can't justify paying him anything crazy because of how limited he is offensively.
Well, now it's officially time to talk about giving him the max.
