Upgrade at PF or SG? which do we need more?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
after some reseaching, ive came to the conclusion that we most deffinatly need a upgrade at PF more then sg. if you look back at all the champions you see that they had a dominant big man along with 1 or 2 perimeter players, lets look back shall we

bos: allen, pierce, KG - perimeter, perimeter, big
san: tony, manu, td - permiter, perimeter, big
mia: wade, posey, shaq - perimeter, perimeter, big
det: billups, rip, sheed - perimeter, perimeter, big
san: tony, manu, td - per, per, big
la: kobe, fish, shaq - per, per, big
la: kobe, fish, shaq - per, per, big
la: kobe, fish, shaq - per, per, big
san: tony, td, rob - per, big, big
chi: mj, pip, rodman - per, per, big
chi: mj, pip, rodman - per, per, big
chi: mj, pip, rodman - per, per, big

i can go on and on, but i think you get the point. its nearly impossible to win without a low post player (who demands double teams). you hear me saying how we should go after chris wilcox and i think we should, but thats just a temporary fix, but would work if we get the proper player at sg.

we allready have the 2 perimeter players (mo, lebron), now we just need our big, and bigz doesnt cut it as he plays mostly as a jump shooter...

elton brand would be - perfect.

You needed research to tell you that? I agree we need a better big. A entirely disagree that it could be Chris Wilcox. Chris Wilcox bears a lot of similarities to Drew Gooden. Nice, but not a championship team's best big man.

FYI: Tony Parker was not present on that 1999 Spurs championship team. Perhaps you're thinking of Avery Johnson.

We don't need a PF/C! We already have future hall of famers rights...

Exhibit A:
The Nigerian MVP

Exhibit B:
Sasha Kaun

You can talk all you want about me, but dont you ever dare talk bad about the Nigerian MVP.

Shaka Kahn will be huge when he plays for us in three years or whenever his contract in Russia is up. But until then Z can't start forever.

Looks like all those teams had very good guard/perimeter play also. Kobe, Jordan, Pippen, Wade, Parker, Manu, Billups/Rip. I mean, for every dominate big in your example, there's a dominate guard to match. I don't deny the fact that the cavs need a scoring low post big. However, I just think the SG position is of greater need. Let's look at it this way, we currently have bigs who can defend the interior, and rebound. You agree? But do we have any SG that can defend and provide consistent offense? Do you really think we would get past a team like the Lakers/Rockets/Boston with West at SG? Do you really think Sasha can man the position? Wally is an embarrassment.

I think we can compete with our current bigs against the elite teams, however I think we CANNOT COMPETE with our SG situation against the elite teams. WEST is not a SG. The fact that Mike Brown is playing a PG out of position at SG should be of "hint" of just how terrible Sasha and Wally really are. We have a healthy Sasha and Wally, but yet Brown would still rather play a pg at SG? Let's really look at this. Mike Brown, a "defense first" coach, know's playing the undersized West at SG is limiting his defense, yet he'll rather go with a PG at SG than start Sasha/Wally. What does that tell you? We are in bad shape at the SG position my friend. This is something I seen a long time ago, it will become real obvious by the time the deadline is here as to what position is the greater need.

We definitely need to upgrade the SF position. Tha numba 23 sucks balls.

Can someone call Rod Thorn and convince him that Wally + a 1st in the future for Vinsanity is totally worth it?

Offer him a Snickers or something to eat while he thinks it over. This needed to happen on draft day. It needs to happen now.

A 2011 first rounder just because they think they are getting LBJ that season so if they got that pick and LBJ that'd be insult to injury for us still very funny.
