Job does need to be posted for a certain number of days before any of this can happen.

Typically a university position has to be posted for 30 days prior to the interviews/hiring process. Most of those positions include office administration, teaching, ticket staff, ect. However, certain positions are exempt from the 30 day trail.

The average time frame for when a coach gets fired to hiring a new coach is 7-10 days. Reason for why a short span to hire a new coach is you do not want to lose time in recruiting, hiring new staff, and want to head into the AFCA conference with very few holes left to fill. I personally have always hated the coach in waiting that some schools have tried to used (FSU, Texas, WVU) just to name a few.

Apparently these @elevenwarriors guys have a good reputation. They broke who the Tattoo 5 were and knew when Tressel was going to resign. Doubt they'd put something like this out without credible sources. Whether the sources turn out to be right remains to be seen.

Literally every SOURCE is claiming the same info.

There is clearly fire with the smoke here, and it appears the two sides have had discussions.

It's a perfect fit for him, it's a perfect fit for the school.

It's universally expected that a deal gets done here.



But until incarceratedbob sends this out via twitter, I just won't be convinced.
