Hey Windy 1-16-15 (second half of show)
50. I think LeBron needed the time off, that's obvious.
51. I think LeBron was not interested in getting success for David Blatt. Seemed clear from how he was acting and playing.
52. I don't know what guys are doing with their time off (LeBron in Miami story; LeBron at OSU title game story).
53. If LeBron wants to go to Dallas and then come back and play great, I'm fine with that.
54. I don't care what players do when they are away from the court.
55. I thought "The Shove" was great moment because Blatt showed fire and passion.
56. Watching The Shove in real time at the game, I had no problem with it for Blatt or LeBron.
57. Saw one huddle in Phoenix that was very strange. Guys not listening, Kyrie practicing layups. Real huddle last just 2-3 seconds.
58. I have more of an issue with that huddle in Phoenix than The Shove.
59. I think LeBron's defense down. And was down last year. Maybe bad habit developed?
60. In second half of Lakers game, he showed good effort on defense.
61. LeBron will yell at a teammate or give them a dirty look if they don't play defense. But can be a hypocrite also on defense.
62. LeBron is vocal on defense, but not as much as in the past.
63. I think Clippers will get Nate Robinson.
64. Jordan Farmar could be someone the Cavs might look at. He can hit outside shots and has some size.
65. Nate Robinson is undersized guy who can't defend. Cavs don't need more of those guys.
66. I'm for a rotation that includes less Dellavedova and Joe Harris (not wanting them to play big minutes).
67. 8 man rotation too little. Would like 9 man rotation.
68. Cavs want to get to a point where they play 8 and trust 7 (for the playoffs).
69. In Lakers game, Cavs played as they should be playing on a regular basis.
70. Mozgov can play better, and he will.
71. Blatt felt he had to win Lakers game, so Blatt played 8 and trusted 7.
72. I think Miller will get some key minutes in the time to come (talking about rotation).
73. Mozgov fumbles a lot of balls around the rim, at least with the Cavs.
74. Cavs players will have to learn where to get Mozgov the ball so he can catch it properly.
75. Mozgov frees up Kevin Love for post ups and rebounding. Mozgov is a space filler.
76. JR Smith has been just what I thought. Hot at times, poor misses at other times.
77. You don't want to be too reliant on JR Smith.
78. When Shumpert healthy, I think he starts over Smith and that likely best for Cavs.
79. Lakers have hard minute cap on Kobe now of like 32 minutes.
80. What are Lakers saving Kobe for? For next year? Why? He's at the end of the line.
81. NBA is in London to maximize NBA revenue.
82. No way NBA will reduce number of games because they will lose revenue. Not happening.
83. NBA not care about quality of games, just want to maximize revenue. So no reduction in number of games per season coming.
84. Windy's Salary Cap 101. Mozgov/Smith trades and Haywood contract next summer. In month of July, Haywood can be traded (before contract up, I think). Cavs could have done sign and trade and even add player to get more out of Haywood deal. But new rule said you must be under "tax apron" for sign and trades. With Mozgov, Smith and Andy deal it seems unlikely that Cavs able to do sign and trade under new rules.
85. Haywood out of sign and trade range (apron) means Cavs likely out of free agency game. But still Haywood can be dealt for a player.
86. Windy's Non Bold Prediction. I expect Kyrie to have a big game tonight.
87. I saw good signs from Kyrie in 2nd half against Lakers.
88. Tonight is key game to "make" road trip for Cavs. Win would be huge.
89. If Cavs get win against Clippers, could be the start of something. But can't trust this team yet.
