So basically Brady/Anderson and Braylon will both be gone?
I still think it's going to be Raji. I don't care how much money is tied up in the D-Line, the "supposed" drug test failure, how much we need several other positions.
Raji and Rogers on the same line, makes the entire defense better against the run and the pass. I know it's not a "sexy" pick and very few agree, but I think it would do the most for the team as a whole.

what in the world is the love affair with sanchez? He has bust written all over him. One of the measures of college QBs doing well in the NFL is 2 or more years experience starting, something sanchez doenst have. On top of that he was on a team that had 3 legitimate RBs to take the pressure off of him, something he will not have on the browns. Finally quinn has one thing above both DA and sanchez HE IS CHEAP. Sanchez at the number 5 spot is going to mean a hell of a cap hit for the browns. Even assuming they end up trading quinn then they have 2 QBs sitting on the team who take up HUGE sums of money.
Overall drafting sanchez just doesnt make sense for this team. There are MANY weaknesses this team has right now including RB, WR, G, LB, and DE that all rank ahead of QB why in the world would this team pass up all of that to draft another QB, it just doesnt make sense.
Edit: Additionally Quinn has two years experience learning an NFL system and at least limited game play, something that would take sanchez at least till the end of this year to learn (meaning another wasted year). So far he has a very limited chance to play, get comfortable, and really adjust to the NFL game. Give quinn a chance.
1. People say our defense suck and it's stupid to go offense... did anyone remember how terrible our offense was near the end of the year? I'd venture to say our defense outplayed our offense in over 50% of the games last year.

Quinn is cheap right now, but doesn't his contract call for an $11 million bonus if he plays in 70% of the offensive plays? You can argue that amount of money will be worth it if he reaches the goal, but the flipside to that is he could reach the goal while still playing poorly because we have no other alternative (especially if DA is traded).
As for the Crabtree/Sanchez topic, I'd rather we go with Raji. Put him at NT and Rogers at DE. It will keep the LB's clean and allow them to make more plays against both the run/pass.
I like Crabtree, but you can find good WR's in the latter part of the draft (I'm even for trading BE and passing on Crabtree at #5). NT's like Raji are much harder to come by.
yeah but the difference is quinn actually has to play to be worth that much.. sanchez will make that much per year no matter what he does.
and rogers is NOT NOT NOT a DE. Raji and Rogers are both perfect for the NT position and thats it, neither of them will transition to DE.
I think the Sanchez thing is a leak to try to get out of this 5th spot. Sanchez is probably the biggest player of interest right now and seems to be shooting up the board. I think the Browns FO is putting that out there so teams like the Jets, Broncos, Redskins (from what I'm hearing on the radio from Redskin fans Dan Snyder is in love with Sanchez), and 49ers, to want to move up to that draft spot.
