really damage you want to go through this? Its been broken down time and again that college QBs who start at least 2 years and have a high pass completion perception generally transition much better to the NFL than those that dont. Strictly playing the percentages Quinn stacks up better than Sanchez. Now you can argue that all you want but thats what research shows.

So right there you have a reason to expect more out of quinn than Sanchez. This doesnt even throw in that quinn has been learning for 2 years (something which apparently makes no difference all of a sudden).
Now finally contract something brady wins big over.. here is the break down of bradys contract numbers.
AT most brady's contract will only get up to 7 million dollars per year for his final 2 years and thats if he plays 70% of the snaps this year. Brady's contract was set up to be worth 20 million dollars over 5 years with and additional 10 million in possible incentives. these incentives came in the form of 5 million dollar bonuses paid his 4th and 5th year if he played either 55% of the snaps his first and second year or 70% of offensive snaps his third year. His contract had a little over 7 guaranteed in bonus, and another 13 spread out over the course of 5 years. So far brady has collected all of the bonuses with another 5+ million paid out over the first 2 years. this means means that there is 7+ million dollars worth of contract money left on quinns contract for the final 3 years. If you want to average that out (not total accurate but gives a pretty good picture of the situation) that means the final 3 years of this contract brady will be collecting 2.4 million a year. If he were to play 70% of the snaps this year his incentives would bump that number up to 7.4 million for the final 2 years. now that we have that out of the way...
last years number 3 pick Matt Ryan signed a 6 year guaranteed 35 million and with incentives up to 70 million. Meaning that at the number 5 pick Sanchez will probably have guaranteed and yearly contract numbers greater than anything quinn can ever get to. This doesnt even mention the fact that DA is collecting a cool 7 million for the next two years. Unless the new regime just totally dislikes quinn drafting sanchez doesnt really make any sense. Quinn hasnt even gotten a damn chance to play and already he is being counted out. Lets see what he can actually do before deciding to trade him so the browns can draft another quarterback.
Overall I have to think this is a smoke screen by the browns to get someone to trade up.
