Just picked up one yesterday at guess where? K-Mart of all places. I got the one without the harddrive, saved 100 bux I'll just get 2 memory cards and that should be enough. I got two games, Fight Nights Round 3, and Need For Speed Most Wanted. Next week I'm getting Call of Duty, The Godfather, the 2 memory cards, and a wireless controller.

I LOVE this console Been waiting for it for Christmas and finally got one. Good stuff

Do not get Call of Duty. Go for the new Ghost Recon it is top of the line on xbox live or regular. Also Fight Nights is by far the most addicting game I have played but it could of been better. Thought they rushed it out. You should of spent on the premium version, is great with a HD TV but if you dont have one it is still great system..

Ya, instead of getting that Godfather and whatnot, get X-Box Live ($50), and get Ghost Recon Advance Warefare.

Trust me. You woun't be dissapointed. The 360 was made for Live.

How so? Is it because of all he HYPE? Or is it because of all the Videos (no gameplay) that Sony has shown? Or is it because of the $420 base price that the PS3 will carry?

It is because of mindless fanboys like you tha believe Sony, that killed the Dreamcast.

When the PS3 comes out, the BASE model (No HardDrive, stated by Sony) will be no less than $420 (Also state by Sony), and the 360 Base drops down to $250, are you willing to still buy a PS3?

I am not saying that I woun't buy a PS3, but as history backs it up, the PS3 will be HALF of what the HYPE advertises. I have no ties to either console as I don't own either (Although I have played the 360 a lot), and I am waiting for the PS3 to really show its true self. Then I will make the decision.

But never will I say an idiotic comment as "XXX will pwn XXX", because frankly nobody knows the true power of either console. You have to wait at least 3 years into each console's life to see the most power used by the games.

Sony has stated any details on the price, or what the system is going to include. So your talking out of your ass on that one. I get playstation magazine, so i get updated every month on it. They have yet to release any details about the system, they are staying mum on everything.

I buy PS2 for the games, the selection is much better. It is geared towards my interest.

Plus the system itself is already known, accoridng to what was shown at the expo in Japan a couple months back, to be speced out higher than the 360, and it still could have under gone major upgrades.

360 rushed its release just because they wanted a product out by shopping season.

They care about the money, PS cares about the gamers and won't release a product until it is completely finished and set to go.

No game shortages, no system shortages. No, buy this system you get all these upgrades for a higher price bullshit.

Just a great system that has been historically great.

What is Mac right on? That the PS3 is SUPPOSED to be a more POWERFUL system, NOT a BETTER system. Everyone knows that. The Sony HYPE machine is at full work here. They said the same thing about the PS2, and how it would be so powerful and crap. They promised that the PS2 would be able to play Toy-Story like graphics. NEVER DID, and what it did do, it did it at HALF of what it promised.

Do any of you have any idea of how much the PS3 would cost if it came with everything that it was promised? It woun't be till 2008 when Sony can sell the PS3 without loss.

PS- It is now being promised that the PS3 will come standard with a 60 gig ATA hard drive (More promises). I guess that is why the PS3 is so freaking huge.

Mandingo, just to prove to you that you know shit about video games, the Nintendo Revolution will be just slightly better than the XBOX 1. NOT up there with the PS3.

Revolution's ATI-provided "Hollywood" GPU clocks in at 243MHz. By comparison, GameCube's GPU ran at 162MHz, while the GPU on the original Xbox was clocked at 233MHz. Sources we spoke with suggest that it is unlikely the GPU will feature any added shaders, as has been speculated.

"The 'Hollywood' is a large-scale integrated chip that includes the GPU, DSP, I/O bridge and 3MBs of texture memory," a studio source told us.

The overall system memory numbers we reported last December have not greatly fluctuated, but new clarifications have surfaced. Revolution will operate using 24MBs of "main" 1T-SRAM. It will additionally boast 64MBs of "external" 1T-SRAM. That brings the total number of system RAM up to 88MBs, not including the 3MB texture buffer on the GPU. By comparison, GameCube featured 40MBs of RAM not counting the GPU's on-board 3MBs. The original Xbox included 64MBs total RAM. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 operate on 512MBs of RAM.

Fvck the nintendo revolution. I can't stand it when people put that in the same breath as xbox and ps3...I'm not going to argue which is better ps3 or xbox360 I dont care...I'm getting both so why argue it? You won't have to if you have both.

PS2 wasnt a great system? That is the first I ever heard of that. The graphics from PS1 to PS2 were amazing. Ive never heard anybody say the ps2 didnt live up to what it siad it would.

The Sony hype machine has gotten us to this level of gaming. Its unreal how good graphics look these days and it's only going to get better when the ps3 is released.

Just got the XBox360 this week...
Bought Ghost Recon and Far Cry. Both games are outstanding....The online elements are what pushes this away from the other systems.

Nintendo is ok for what they do...Their next system will not be really competing with the XBox and PS3; It's going to be the cheaper alternative/addition from everything I have read.

Playstation - What can I say, I just don't like it.

PS3 and xbox360 are both pityful my PC looks better than both of those and i can go online watch movies and order a pizza with it these new systems are just now getting to the level of the PC and the PC is about to sprint forward again i say get a good PC and leave the consoles on the shelf

Never really enjoyed PC gaming. The cost of a good PC is unreal and you have to constantly update it. Not too interested in all that.

Plus the games I like, sports for isntance, just dont play that well on a computer. Plus the monitor is small. I play on a big screen tv, so I can't go from that to 17 inches.
