And PS+ is now $60 too, so its really the extra $100 for the system.

You can look it as a $100 dollars saved, but I look at it being more in the long run. Just because of the fact I will be renting games instead of buying them for $65 not knowing if I'm going to like it or not. I'll will be saving an extra $150 going the PS4 route. This is what it will cost me for going the Xbox route, $535 box, $60 for gold, $130 for 2 games(I'm a 2 game person) I'll probably need a headset too but I won't count that. So counting taxes it'll be around $725 and more if I need a headset.

Vs

$430 for box, $60 ps+, $65 for one game, and I have a mic already maybe it'll work, and I also have free 2 months of gamefly promo when I reactivate to get my 2nd game.

$555 or $725

PS4. I've been with Sony since the PS1, and I'm not leaving now. $100 less, backwards compatibility, the new Gaikai feature, better graphics than the XBOX One, hundreds of more games than the XBOX One, online play costs less and gives you you tons of free games and advantages every month (Playstation Plus), don't always have to be signed in, and you're allowed to use used/borrowed games. Imo I really don't see how the XBOX One is worth the extra $100. Microsoft really shot itself in the foot when they announced these new "features" (which are really restrictions) and probably lost thousands of consumers to Sony and the PS4.

Also, I'm most likely going to be getting the PS4 when it's released, so I may be able to right a review for it on here.

Already pre-ordered my Xbox and building a new PC, PS doesn't appeal to me with their more foreign game market and half movie/half game exclusives. To each his own, to each his own.

I played PS1, PS2 and switched to 360 after that. I'm returning home to Sony now for many of the reasons listed above. Put down 100$ for the ps4 yesterday actually (and 5$ for Battlefield 4 and 2k14)

Does PS+ ever go on sale? I know Xbox Live can be had at 12months for $30-60 depending on if it's on sale. How do you figure PS4 has 100s of more games then Xbox One? That's just silly. PS backwards compatibility is being able to download old PS3 games off marketplace, Xbox probably will do the same thing since they did it with Xbox 360 and Xbox.

Had PS1, PS2, PS3 then PS3 got the yellow light and I got a 360. I saw no discernible difference between the two other than I had had friends to play games with online for the 360.

I'm leaning XBox just because that's what my friends will get and the glaring issues right now with game sharing and Big Brother monitoring your Kinect don't bother me.

Not to mention you can just turn off the Kinect period, face at wall, turn mic off, or put something over it.

I don't think PS+ ever goes on sale, but I'm not sure. It's less than $5 a month and only (about) $49.99 a year. Sony has already said they have hundreds of games in the making (Microsoft said they have about 12-13 in progress) and Sony will be giving Indie Developers more independence in launching games on the PS4 than Microsoft and the XBOX One. And the Gaikai feature will now let you cloud stream old PS1, PS2, and PS3 games onto you PS4.

Please show me this in more detail, they almost have that many exlusives coming out alone.

Stolen from NtG in another thread, gaikai still needs to be purchased, it doesnt come with the system.

Ummmm what advantages is that? They both give away games for free every month, however you lose access to those games on PS if you no longer have PS+, where Xbox once you download a game it's yours forever via download history if you were to delete it even if you are Silver. They both have sales weekly/monthly which is better depends on what type of games you play. They both have apps that comes down to which you use. Like i use HBO GO on Xbox and PS doesn't have it. You have to pay to play online on both systems now(PS4 requires PS+ to play online now). PS4 is finally adding party chat but will it work as good/better as LIVE is yet to be seen. I get you like PS and that's fine, but at least don't be bias when comparing the two's online.

I'm getting the Xbox One, but not because I think it's the better system. If all of my friends would commit to getting a PS4, I would be all in for that, but they're all about these stupid Xbox exclusive games so they want the One. I usually buy 2-3 games a year...Madden, NBA 2K, and sometimes NCAA Football or some other title. The PS4 would be perfect for me but since one of the main reasons I play video games is the party chat feature to talk with my friends, I have to get the Xbox.

Yes but it will be available to PS4 users starting in 2014. And I will get that link to you about exclusive games.
