In a year the Xbox has went from 500 dollars no game, to 349 with a game. Bodes well for when I want to pick it up for Fable. I might be able to get it for 199 at that point.

I'm going to get one for Halo eventually, since I have friends who play Halo I want to play with. Maybe by then they'll throw in free Xbox Live Gold too, lol.

Black Friday might be a nuts deal. Might be able to snatch up Sunset Overdrive and Halo for 349, or get a 50 dollar gift card or something.

I'm pumped personally. I got burnt last gen by buying just for Fable, and hating the game. Sunset seems to be reviewing well, and depending on Fable Legends reviews (and beta impressions), I think there is a real chance I'll get one. Just hoping for 249, or less, even if it's used.

Edit: and I forgot about Scalebound! That game looks great. So 3 games, that I could get. Also COD BO3, and the dlc just to play zombies a month earlier

Yeah it sounds like Sunset Overdrive is a pretty good game. It looks like Dead Rising plus Tony Hawk plus acid. I'll have to pick it up some time in the near future.

It's available, but I have no idea what it does, other than mangle the network apparently. I'm getting a little tired of these problems.

Bough Sunset last night at release on Xbox Store and it's extremely fun. If you're strictly a multiplayer gamer it's not for you but I am having much more fun than I was playing the same shit on Destiny over and over again.

Those of you with PS4, am I the only one who can't get the NBA Gametime app to play a game right now? I've signed up for the free trial, have connected with my email, and everything.

I really don't get the big deal about this Halo thing.

I played these games 10 years ago. Putting a new coat of paint on it is cool, but...I played these games. They do look beautiful,though. I just don't get "It's such a good deal!!!!" Yeah, it's a great deal...for them. You're buying old games. Smart business move though.

Honestly, aside from the first Halo, which was awesome via LAN games back when that was a thing, I never really got the big deal about the series. The single-player was decent but the writing was always pretty terrible, and the multiplayer always seemed about five steps behind the best PC games. Unreal Tournament 2K4 basically fed Halo 2 its lunch back when they both came out. It was better at everything and faster. Plus Onslaught, which was basically one of the most fun multiplayer modes I've ever wasted exorbitant minutes of my life on.
