2019 Series #21 | Indians vs. Yankees | June 7th, 8th, and 9th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bauers did a thing!

Tie game!

This team is so confusing. I have no idea if they are really bad and overperforming, or alternatively, if they're really good and underperforming. I lean the former, but winning two out of three against the Twins followed by, at worst, two out of three against the Yankees is, well, confusing to me.
I will say, the team has been fighting lately. That wasn't happening early in the season.

This has been the strangest first half for the Tribe that I can remember.

Hopefully they can string together some more series wins against a run of cupcakes before the break.

Yeah I miss when Jigo would come in here, post a shit gif and then disappear. Oh now I’m giving off a snark response

Seasons changed and so do I. You need not wonder why.

(Mostly because the Indians don’t suck anymore)

I know people dislike Bauers, and he is really struggling, but recently he actually is doing a better job getting on base and hitting with power. His May was just absolutely awful.

I agree... the team is playing hard. If they can string together a few wins then I think the team has to find a way to trade for future value while not ruining the team's chances to contend. It's just tough to analyze... they're so inconsistent.

Absolutely cannot believe my eyes @Stark

The man has some pop when he actually squares one up well. Problem is for most of this season, he's been having a hard time squaring anything up.

Hope that blast is a sign of things to come, because we need production out of that DH spot.

This team has a ton of talent, just not performing up to that potential at the end of the day, hence why I personally don't want to give up on the season and believe that they will be good in the second half plus they will be a very good team in 2020 when this young talent is a year older and more experienced!

Bauers is also only 23 years old (same age as Bradley who we all want the Indians to promote). He’s being forced into a more consistent role when he should be being allowed to develop a little more, but that’s just not a realistic option with the state of our OF right now.

Not sure if there's a man in all of baseball that I dislike more than Aroldis Chapman.

Hope we can ruin his day.
