yep I've been telling people the stock market is going to crash this year for the last 90 days too
I guess you are just going to have to wait and see. Maybe after getting him in house they realized they got a absolute steal at 5 if that were possible , but the truth is his value was not what they thought it was and won't be until he proves it at the next level.
There is very little chance him and Sexton can play together , but maybe in the Michigan mans offense they can co exist
I mean, you're just entirely wrong is all. They did not draft Garland with the intention of trading him. They had been tracking Garland heavily in the week leading up to the draft and they flew out the entire brass to his private workout in L.A. Once the Davis trade went down and it became clear they would have a chance to draft him, he was frankly in his own tier on top of their big board when it came time to make the decision.
They see him as their starting PG for the next hopefully 10+ years. They also believe he has superstar upside.
Believe me, they LOVE Collin and were very encouraged by the second half of last season. They wouldn't have made a move for another smaller guard without superseding belief he was absolutely the best player left in the draft.
