0 and 2.Be honest, which of these do you have a problem with?
The Utah love is the most confusing to me.
They played a terrible non-conference schedule. Have zero wins over a top 25 team, and pretty bad loss to a pretty bad USC team.
They're still 21st in SOS, which isn't bad, but not great.
Oregon is 10th.
Oklahoma is 31st.
Baylor is 45th.
The loss to USC sucks, but it was still only by one score on the road.
I think the main thing we're seeing this year is that there are not a lot of great teams or great resumes.
LSU and OSU are the cream of the crop. Clemson, Baylor, and Minnesota are undefeated, but have junk schedules.
I can find a major flaw with every single team outside of us and LSU right now.
I'm ok with rewarding Oregon for scheduling a real team in the non-con.
Utah didnt. And then they dropped a bad game. I don't agree with keeping them over an undefeated power 5 team.
Let alone 2.
Yeah, I get what you mean. You can see in my rankings on the last page, I had Minnesota fifth. Baylor 10th.
Baylor isn't good and will likely lose the next two weeks. I think their record is the fluke of all flukes.
I guess I thought the same thing about Minnesota.
With Baylor, you've got a team that actually has beaten some alright teams already in Kansas State and Oklahoma State.
I just wanna see what the committee will do if they win next week. In my mind, there's no way you can keep them out of the top 4 if that happens. And that's a HUGE jump, but I can't see how they can justify not making it.
I don’t hate that. I think on a neutral field Auburn is favored. And of course Baylor is left out of the top 10 and for whatever reason is behind 2-loss Auburn
