2019 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There aren't many good teams this year. I like where OSU is at right now.

Man... how did Baylor put up 31? That QB is garbage....

and tOSU would beat that OU team by 30

i can’t believe Baylor got stifled so badly in the second half. Seriously, how can you not score 10 points against OU’s defense in the second half? It’s literally all you needed.

Whatever, get them out of the top-25. That’s just inexcusable.

So you didn't watch the game?

Quite frankly Baylor has been under ranked and it showed. Baylor came in and absolutely slugged OU in the face. If that first half score held it would have and should have pushed Baylor to top 4.

OU made adjustments at half time though and was able to shut them down. Specifically OU started shadowing the Baylor QB.

It was criminal that Baylor as a undefeated team was ranked below a 2 loss team, much less put behind all the 1 loss teams. If I'm the committee I don't drop Baylor at all. I also pull OU back up. 9 is a given but I think they are playing better than Penn State and are a better team than Utah. especially when Utah continues to be top 7 with the worst loss of the top 12 teams

That LSU defense is still a big problem and I would not be surprised to see Georgia cram it down their throats and beat them.

Nah, I’m speaking out of emotional reaction. I was exceptionally disappointed to see Baylor blow that game; they did nothing to counter Hurts on the ground when their original spy just flat out wasn’t fast enough to stay with him.

Baylor was forced to throw when OU adjusted to ther QB running and as it turns out he’s a really bad passer. All they needed to do was come up with 10 first-half points against a bad OU D And they couldn’t. Just maddening to me but I like upsets and I like Rhule. Don’t disagree with much of what you said, I was just being irrational and reactionary

And seriously, UGA isn’t an exciting team at all but with that rushing attack against a shakey LSU defense that must be the best formula to keep Burrow the fuck off the field. UGA is playing well-above average defense too so that’ll probably be the best unit LSU has seen.

Well, that's who we'll be playing. Meanwhile LSU will get a bye week against the Pac 12 Champ.

I think by the end of the season, OSU will be back at #1 (assuming undefeated status). They will have played 3 additional top 25 teams at that point. That'll put LSU v Clemson in one game and OSU vs ____ in the other.

I'd be stunned at this point if that happened. Minnesota losing last night really hurt those chances. Shit, we very well may end up rematching Wisconsin now.

LSU would have to look not-good. Hopefully their defense continues to suck. Would also help if Bama lost to Auburn, because right now (and projecting forward), LSU can say they have 3 wins (UF, Bama, UGA) better than OSUs best win (PSU?).

If LSU wins out they will be the top team.
After looking at Clemson's schedule the last 5 years....Damn.
They are on a 26-game win streak.

Clemson has only lost 4 games in 5 years.
Alabama has lost 5 in 5 years.
Ohio St. has lost 6 in 5 years.

OKLA has lost 9 in 5 years.
LSU has lost 14 in 5 years.

UTAH has lost 19 in 5 years.
ORE has lost 23 in 5 years.

I would rather play LSU in the first round than Clemson.
Any team going undefeated is extremely hard.
At least One of us will have an upset loss. (OSU, LSU, Clemson)

I dunno what people are talkimg about.

If OSU dominates next week they'll jump LSU and then stay ahead of them.

LSU will play Georgia.
If they win they will be first.

Ohio st. now has to beat 5 top 15 teams in a row, to win it all.
I'll give us about a 5% chance of pulling this off lol

Well regardless of what seed we’d be, it’s still 5 too 15 teams.

I’m also not 100% sure we need to win out to make the playoffs. Not something I would’ve dreamt possible before the season. But I could easily see a 12-1 OSU making it.
