ReallyFINE, I’ll be the first:
GET THAT WEAK STUFF OUTTA HERE.
no remorse.
Indeed. It’s why the “no remorse” is there.Really
I didn't post this because I don't like AC. Actually, he seems like a very nice man and I wish him well. It might be nice to have a guy like Fratello who adds some analysis to the game, but if you know basketball, you don't need much analysis and listening to Austin's homerism... both in the traditional sense and in the Simpsons sense... is at least entertaining. My son does not get to watch the games, but I still email him some of the dumb things Austin says and we get a nice laugh. I know the email is then forwarded to at least one other guy. Here are a couple of examples:
"It was just that extra millimeter of time that he took that got the shot blocked."
"You can't build Rome in one day."
"The ball doesn't go in the basket every night in any sport."
I think his job is to make the game enjoyable without too much analysis. At halftime and after the game you get the thoughtful guys who break down the stats. It could be that the producers want Austin to bring some fun and excitement to the action and leave the more detailed analysis to the halftime and post-game guys.
Lots of more boring guys in the league who know less about players.
Color guys aren't supposed to deliver hard hitting analysis. I like Brad and think he did a fine a job, just he's too boring to be the color guy.
Brad. But I like insightful commentary even if it's a little dry. Carr tends to say the same things over and over.Would you rather have Brad Daugherty or AC?
Yes. But then there is Brad D.
Who would you rather have?
Give me Goukas and Reghi.
