Both Barrett and Judon are looking to get paid. Lawson intrigues but can't imagine Cincy isn't looking to resign him.
He’s great at generating pressure, and would likely get more sacks playing with Garrett.

His run defense has been pretty bad for most of his career, although I did see some people mention that he improved that part of his game this year.

Quick note on the "did the Browns offer JJ Watt $X guaranteed":

This is a buyers market, the Browns have a vested interest in convincing the market that they did not offer MORE to Watt, so they can leverage position with future free agents.

We're seeing pushback from Browns sources today saying that they didn't offer more, or a high guarantee.

I'm not buying that, and we'll almost certainly never know the real offer.

Berry and DePo benefit from leaking that they did not and can not offer much money to prospective free agents, which is exactly what they should be doing at this point.

Lawson is very underrated. I hope that keeps his market down and we could snag him for somewhat cheaper

Hasnt Lawson openly talked shit about the franchise and city previously?

I can’t imagine he’d remotely be interested in us.

It's a mock draft, but also has trades. It has us trading for Stephone Gilmore, giving up a 3rd this year and a 4th next year.

Gilmore's cap number for us would only be 7.3mil, which is a steal for him, even if it's only 1 year.

If the Eagles trade up for a QB, Howie should get shot in the war room.

And drafting the next "franchise qb" usually gets a coach more time. Pederson has been discussed as on the hot seat.

I like Jalen Hurts. He's mobile, very accurate, and seems to process the field well.

I think the Eagles picked the better QB to hitch their wagon to.

I think Wentz has more team success, because Indy has a far superior roster to the Eagles right now.

They ran off Wentz because Wentz sucks.
I watched quite a bit of Wentz this year - he gave me 2019 Baker vibes. Lots of hitching and second-guessing, not trusting his eyes, and panicking in the pocket. The Eagles having their o-line decimated by injuries certainly didn't help.

The Colts offer a chance to turn things around. Strong defense and strong o-line can bring him back. Of course - assuming he's not too broken.

Eh...

I don't think Jalen Hurts is very good, so I could easily understand taking a QB high if the right guy is there.

Not sure we saw enough from Hurts on a trash Eagles team with a bad line and no receivers to really make a judgment. No QB would have succeeded in that situation.
