2021 NBA PLAYOFFS MEGA THREAD

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Philly is honestly playing a really good game on both ends and this game still isn't over because they're paying someone 28 million a year o w/e it is to be a defensive specialist. He's a complete ghost on offense.

I still think Philly wins this series.

They found something at the end of game 1 and its continued into this game. Really pressuring the ball handlers of Atlanta, which imo is their weakness. They don't wanna play Williams and Young together and their other guys, while good players, aren't dudes who wanna break down a defense and deal with pressure well. And Philly has the guys to rotate out there who can really give small guards fits with intense ball pressure.

Simmons, Hill, Thybulle can really get in your grill.

but if this is the Ben Simmons they get against the Nets, they have no shot.

EDIT: Also on just a more simple level Philly has the best player in this series by quite a big margin.

I'm gonna go ahead and put a fork in the Jazz.

Donovan Mitchell simply isn't close to good enough to be your teams best offensive player. Not even in the ball park of the remaining teams best offensive players.

Utah shooting 20 3s in the first quarter. That is not basketball - I hate it.

If you’re the Clippers, you have to feel good about scoring 60 points against Utah this half with only 13 of those coming from Kawhi and PG13

I thought Kennard was done, like psychologically done, after having a rough season including some playoff DNPs

And yet Lue puts him back in the rotation in game 6 against DAL, keeps him in the game after he bricks his first two or three 3P shots, and then bam!, he nails a few fourth quarter threes in game 6 and has 11 points in this game.

Even Cousins has gotten in this game and produced.

Series is toast.

Mitchell isn't good enough so unless the Jazz manage to keep these games low scoring they can't win.

Ty Lue is coaching his ass off

The NBA is too predictable. Two passes shoot a three....3 on 1 break stop and pull up for a three.....drive to the basket and if you have a clear path to the rim.....kick it out for a three.....dribble back and forth and through your legs until you get enough space between you and the defender and shoot a three! I’m watching teams with a 2,3, and 5 point lead with under two minutes in a game still coming down and firing up threes.
Today’s game is predictable and boring.

Tale of two halves
Jazz exerting their will and playing off the home crowd energy

this is some all time great timing for a post. Right before Mitchell puts up more than Kawhi and PG3 put together

it’s happened to the best of us, bro. The take game is tough

Kawhi got fouled on that last possession. That’s a horrible missed call.

Donovan's ball handling surprised me. The dude can get to his spots at will.

Bottom line is that the Clips looked gassed from going 7 in the last round. They won't win many games if Donavan continues to out produce Kawhi.

A whole lot went right for Utah at home and they still barely won...wouldn’t be predicting the series from this game
