I still think national media is putting way too much stock into Baker's 2019 than any other time in his career.

I would giggle all the way to the bank with giving Baker $30mill this next off season. That'd be a bargain in as little as this season's time.

Zero chance at $30M barring crippling injury.
Baker has to sign the contract or have his durable POA sign it. We can say “lock him down now” all we want bc we think the contract will get more expensive but… so does Baker.
They will wait and he will bet on himself behind an awesome scheme, awesome coach, and awesome offensive players, from the line to the backfield to the pass catchers. It’s a really good bet for Baker & his camp to take.

You want a really hot take?

I think Baker can be much better even with his massive contract. TBH, I don't know if what he has at WR and TE is as good as it is made to sound, OBJ not included. I think there is a legitimate chance that, with some good drafting and some luck, Baker has even better weapons around him as early as next year.

I've always thought that Baker's style of passing benefited from bigger bodied targets. You could see a higher level of confidence when throwing to tight ends like David Njoku, Darren Fells, Dropmetrius Harris, and so forth. If DPJ improves and we do good in the draft, we might see a better version of Baker than we even know could be possible.

While she has a point and I certainly will keep it mind, she also decided to make herself a public figure by doing TV with Baker, so some loss of privacy sort of goes with the territory. She comes off sort of whiny to me. And I'm not excusing cretinous behavior, just surprised she's not better at dealing with it.

You don't get to stalk people because they're famous.

Take this as her publicly asking everyone to stop doing it. She certainly has a right to feel safe when she goes for a run.
