2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I kind of love the idea of Hart on the Cavs, I'm just worried about the cost. He plays the game that people are hoping will come to Okoro soon, legitimately guards forwards, excellent rebounder, smart player at both ends who can do everything, plus a high character guy that's beloved here in NOLA. Obviously hoping Okoro will ultimately be a better shooter and have a higher ceiling but you can't have too many guys like Hart on your team. Adding Rubio and Hart together would contribute so many winning details to this team and give you two legit leaders in the locker room to set and example and carry some weight for our young guys along with Nance. I really feel like that team could be a sneaky challenger to the Bulls and Pacers if the chemistry goes in our favor. Aside from the contract though I wonder if you just have too many guys with Hart and not enough minutes to go around. It's too bad that New Orleans just signed Graham, otherwise this could have been a reasonable starting point for a Sexton deal.

The question is what are the Cavs sending out? It better not be any first round picks….and I don’t care if they are protected or not!

Yeah, I don't see it if it's not a piece in a Sexton deal which Graham seems to preclude. Cavs should not trade Nance. I'm just making shit up lol.

I'd like Hart on this team, he also has that bulldog mentality. Trade Cedi for him in a sign & trade.

Am I the only one interested in the Vaudrin kid. To me feels like a Duncan Robinson type story potential. Guess it’s my Stark county homerism.

Vaudrin can't shoot to save his life. Absolutely nothing like Duncan Robinson.

I see you somehow got my quote before I edited my post. I changed it to story pretty quickly. Looking at his college stats he shot at 33% and 37%. I agree he’s nowhere near the 3pt shooter Robinson. On the other side of the coin his attacking the hoop skills are much better than Duncan.

I don't want Hart at all. He doesn't solve any of the teams issues. He's not long, he can't shoot. He is an okay player but I don't see the fit for him in Cleveland.

If we are trading Cedi plus filler for Hart I don't mind it. I would try to throw an offer sheet at one of the RFA shooters that is left though.

Why the hell would they take on Cedi when they could just let Hart walk and not have to take on a bad contract? We'd have to attach a pick for them to start considering it.

Griff has done some real weird stuff recently, that's the only reason why I think it could happen. Griff did draft Cedi even if Koby was the one who scouted him.

I could also see us trading Nance and getting Hart plus additional assets back.
