I feel like I was expecting top-end prices to be around the Mahomes and CMC amounts--closing in on 60 per player. I don't think those values I was expecting accounted for the large number of spots we're playing in the starting lineup. So, here's my abortion of a team that had zero extra dollars to spend after Aaron Rodgers:

The good thing about a league like this is that, if you are smart with your contracts, you can walk into next year's draft with some decent money to play with, and a whole lot of the guys we drafted last night will get cut.

In my other league with a format similar to this (scoring is different and there's a kicker and defense, but otherwise it's more or less the same), I wasn't involved in the start-up. However, I took over an orphan team that was absolutely awful. Basically my only decent guy on a good contract was Cooper Kupp. I turned that team from worst in the league to a playoff team in two years.

And your team has a hell of a lot more talent than that one did.

And all contracts in full are taken in, correct? Guy has 4 years left, then you get him for all 4? But if a guy is at 1, then you can't extend him?
