A rookie LHP to start for the Royals.. and, perhaps, the worst or close to the worst umpire in the world behind the plate calling balls and strikes.. by the middle of this game.. neither team is going to know what a strike is or will be called and what isn't.. Angel Hernandez is that bad.. Only Larry Vanover and Country Joe [puke] West approach his level of inconsistency and crap...

Six set down in a row.. including Weird swinging at one up around his eyes.. He gets two strikes on him..and anything in the ballpark gets his bat going.. We'll see how our guys adjust to this lefty..I doubt anyone has seen him.. or know what he brings to the table..

Even though the Royals pushed across a run.. it appears Bieber is starting to settle into his rythm.. a good inning.. he seems to be getting command of his FB.. with that..he can succeed.. only about 20 pitches left, though..

Bieber is certainly not fooling Benintendi.. not even a little.. An at em ball to Chang playing SS.. Looks like DeMarlo is grooming Chang for the Util Role.. I'm sure he shags during the down time.. I wonder if they'll send him out into the outfield during the spring?.. wouldn't hurt...

"Weird" Harold Ramirez in his zeal to show he can play.. is showing he can't.. Can't field.. can't figure out what he's trying to hit.. and swings at anything that is close.. Weird has some talent.. but he's so undisciplined..
