If you want to scout some exciting college football prospects, Cincinnati vs. Notre Dame is going to feature a half dozen players who could go on day one.
The Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton, Bearcat defensive end Myjai Sanders and corner Sauce Gardner could all be impact rookies next year.
Just as an update on a potential target in this game.
Isaiah Foskey through week 4:
3.5 sacks
18 tackles
1.5 TFL
1 FF
1 FR
6’5” 260 lb DE. Plays the Vyper position in ND’s defense which means he both plays on the line and in coverage. Freakish athlete that runs a sub 4.65 40 and was a 5-star TE recruit out of high school.
The thing that intrigues me the most with a guy like Foskey is his versatility. Being able to both use him as a pass rusher as well as someone that could help deal with bigger TEs in coverage would be an amazing piece to have. If you had Garrett, Taak, resign Clowney on a reasonable 2-3 year deal, and draft a guy like Foskey, that would be an amazing EDGE rotation. On obvious passing downs you’d even have the ability to put all four guys on the field at the same time.
