Also, McKenzie has turned out pretty darned good, even if he is just now emerging…easy post once you know how those other prospects turned out

In hindsight that isnt saying much. Damning with faint praise to pick those particular players.
Interesting thought. I've already said on here that Espino is my favorite prospect since Lindor and that he in fact may be a better pure prospect than Lindor. No one expected Lindor's pop to come along like it did. Espino is flawless IMO. Brings that heat, can throw a variety of pitches, solid control, dominating results at a young age, and in the system that has turned Cy Young winners (multiple) from much less clay to work with than EspinGOAT. Espino for me is the best prospect here in a long time.
You always want to see a season/series decided on the field.. It was good to play at least most of the year for these guys.. The stagnation of their progress did NO ONE ANY FAVORS.. Now if they could just get paid, imho, then the minors leagues would see a massive change in the way and number of star athletes deciding what to do with their sporting lives.. Only if it does become a priority of the new CBA will this happen..And that wraps it up for the Clippers, not the way I was hoping they'd end the season.
Final game cancelled due to wet grounds/rain.
Yes, there will be someDo we have any official announcements regarding CLE players taking part in the 2021 AFL yet???
Yes.. 16, then, approximately 38 and 59.. Could be one or two spots different..Guardians will draft at #16 in the 2022 draft. Tigers will draft #12, so there wasn't a huge advantage to finish 3rd in the division.
