I'm just bummed this team is not named the "Spiders". Way too cool to pass up. The "Guardians" has really started to grow on me though.
 
Cash grab, will all be worked out.

Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't a few culture warrior organizations provide counsel for the roller derby team.

imho.... There are more than one Lions team in the world.. more than one Tigers team.. more than one... The law has come down on same sport.. no sharing.. different sport.. not a conflict.. This is a greenmail / publicity dispute.. we'll see if it turns into a lawsuit in the next few months..

Wonder what would have happened if we had changed our name to "Browns" as opposed to "Guardians"...

The sword will swing in favor of the baseball team, it is just humorous this wasn't completely put to bed already. But who I am kidding?? It is Cleveland after all... LOL..
