2022 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Is Patrick Baldwin even a top 10 pick at this point? Whenever I watch him play good competition, the results are pretty awful. The body language sucks and he doesn't seem like he can compete athletically.

Sengun's problem is he is smaller than Jokic and terrible defensively. It's why he gets so little playing time despite being so gifted offensively. A real unicorn.

On the Rockets message board they're saying Sengun's ceiling is Jokic with better defense. Might be a bit of a wishful thinking given that Jokic leads the entire league in DBPM.

But then again, they also have this thread on there:

They also have a mess in Jalen Green.

Word is Bronny James is seriously considering opting for the draft.
Does anybody think if Bronny is sitting there when the Cavs pick this year that Koby calls his name!

I don’t see what’s wrong with Isiah Mobley. Shoots 40% from 3, has Mobley genes…sign me up, man!

Can someone explain to me how the ceiling for Chet Holmgren isn’t, like, Kristaps Porzingis at best? Yeah, he might end up a better ball handler but still not good enough to be a primary handler, and he doesn’t have nearly the body/frame

Bronny is a HS junior who just turned 17. He won’t be eligible until the 2024 draft.

???

He's not draft eligible for another 2-3 years?
This is his HS JR season(2021-2022)
Next year is his HS Senior Season (2022-2023)
2023-2024 would be his one year of college or G League

So as the rules stand now, he is not eligible for the NBA Draft until the 2024 Draft
Even if they change the rules soon to allow straight from HS, he still wouldn't be eligible until the 2023 draft

Thanks! Maybe I read the article wrong but I thought it said he could forgo his senior year in HS and go straight to the G League and then be in the ‘23 draft.

The clip they showed is on an impressive stepback 3, though...

If PBJ falls in the draft, I'd happily take him late.

Can't believe we wouldn't even be able to pick Mathurin. Oh how the mighty draft gods have fallen.
I mean it depends on how much you are willing to give up. Have a feeling the Cavs might try to use the early second rounders to move up. I doubt Mathurin is realistic as of today but moving up to grab one of the other wings could be in the cards.

He can "go pro" as soon as next year, but he can't go to the NBA Draft until he's 19 the year of the draft he enters and his HS class is 1yr removed from graduation. I don't know how old he is, or when his birthday is, but *if* he turns 19 in 2023, he could reclassify his HS class to 2022 and enter the 2023 draft. That's his only chance, though.

Word is you dont know how the NBA draft works.

Also, per the draft sites, Bronny is borderline NBA level talent. I dont hink he ends up nearly as good as many of us think.
