This is why I do not understand the Tuesday trade deadline at 6 ... The reason they did not want Sat/Sun was the issue with guys being pulled mid-game. Pham was in Reds lineup ... in warm up (640 start). Tonight there was 10 games (20 teams). Tomorrow there are 16 games due to DH plus all minor league players who are off today.

Thanks coach. Yeah I read Meisel's piece on The Athletic. They're definitely in on him. Just wonder who else is in on the catcher market. Obviously the whales like the yanks are in on everyone but.. damn.. catcher and RP (boooring) seem more and more like the most realistic options here.

Well Houston went and got Vazquez from the Red Soxs, while the Red Soxs replace him with McGuire from the White Soxs....
Rumors would be around Jansen and/or Moreno of the Jays, Murphy of the A's, Contreras of the Cubs, and Carson Kelly of the DBacks, though I would be all for Varsho of the DBacks since he can play a bunch of positions.
Contreras though is the only one that will be traded... None of the others have to be.
DBacks have 1B Walker, LHRP Mantiply and C Kelly on the trading block.
