That's a lot to give up for a journeyman reliever having a career year. If you think 2022 Lopez is what you're going to get in 2023 and 2024, I do that trade in a heartbeat. I'm just not sold that you're going to get this Lopez moving forward.

We should remember that many of the absolute greatest closers/relievers of all time were converted starters.We could have beaten their offer easily... I guess our FO agreed with you.
Now you have to remember this with him, he has been mostly a Starter for his career. He has been throwing a couple MPH more on every single one of his pitches this season...
