I'm astonished that Vegas expects us to win FEWER games than last year, when we had all kinds of injury problems to key players.
Last year Sexton, our leading scorer the previous season, played 11 games. LeVert played 19 (for the Cavs), and Allen 56. Markkanen missed 21 games. Rubio played 34 but that's about what he'll play this year so I'm not including him.
Who did we lose? Rondo, Moses Brown, Pangos, Denzel Valentine, Luke Kornet. Who is the best player we lost? Probably Brandon Goodwin, our third string point guard.
So take last year's 44-win team, subtract absolutely nothing, add 70 games of Sexton, 60 games of Levert, 20 games of Allen (assuming no injuries), and Agbagi and now you have a WORSE team?
I get that they think the East will be stronger this year, and it may. But I can't see the Cavs losing MORE games than last season. And I didn't even consider the likely improvement by Mobley and Okoro, both of whom are reported to be working very hard this summer on specific areas of their games that need improvement.
