Would y’all be interested in trading Sexton for a couple FRP’s?
Trade him for an unprotected #1 and let the birdy fly. We'll watch on from afar in adulation.

Im with @Derek here. Collin is the better player, but not as valuable overall. Why haven't we heard of any offers with a FRP or a realistic SnT yet? 15m is a good value for him at the moment.

Wade and Stevens are both our best defensive options against big wings. Are they stoppers like Maxi or Mikal? No. But they are our best options at the most important role in the NBA.

Collin Sexton is a small guard who is not a primary playmaker, a defensive liability, and an elite scorer. That is a role that is far easier to fill. Isaiah Thomas is right there. Therese like 2 of these guys every draft. He is a better player but far far more replaceable. There is a path for him to up his value, but we need to see better playmaking and improved defensive awareness

The Cavs won't sign and trade him for 15 because they are prob willing to match that. Cavs set his sign and trade price by threatening to match a straight offer. There is a range they will match and it prob goes to 20M.

Not in response to you, but they are also still seeing where all the movement ends up and clutch is hoping a team opens up space in a trade.

I don't doubt the Cavs have multiple options to clear a roster spot, but those negotiations are likely on hold until bigger deals go down.

A *couple* FRPs???? Hell yeah!!!

Utah has a lot of them. Could get the 2023 pick that is incoming (which will likely be lower) and one of the Minnesota picks.

I could see Sexton and Osman to Utah for Bogdanovic and firsts. Even if they want to pay Sexton more (like $17M per), there are trade exceptions to cover Cedi.

I was messing around on tradenba.com and had a 3-team trade with Mitchell going to the Knicks, Sexton and Cedi going to Utah, and Fornier and picks coming to the Cavaliers.

can we throw in Windler too? Losing Sexton for one FRP is worth it if they can also get rid of Cedi and Windler, especially if we are taking back a 2/3. We have too many stiffs and need to make room for Ochai and Levert.

Don't ask me why, but I have a gut feeling that Windler would thrive in SLC and probably reach whatever his full potential is as a player. That wouldn't stop me from including him in a trade, more of a prediction.

Remind me....who's the coach there?

They just replaced Quinn Snyder with Will Hardy, who I know nothing about.

I always figured Windler's absolute upside would be a Joe Ingles type player, even though he's no longer there he had a good run there.

If Altman could get Bogs and firsts for Sexton and Cedi, I'd personally nominate him for GM of the year. He can't, but it's fun to imagine.

Will Hardy won’t be able to develop Windler’s game!
