Makeup game versus White Sox | Sep. 15, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This seems like a bad idea and it’s turned out worse than imagined. Sox seem like the biggest threat, not sure why you wouldn’t go full force against them. Nothing like everybody on the roster hitting a home run to get them going.

Gaddis does not appear to have the arsenal to be a MLB pitcher.

My guess is that he won't survive the 40 man purge that is inevitable come December.

However, I dont understand the angst over pitching him today. He has to pitch sometime.. and using him between Quantrill and TMac makes perfect sense.

Tito was gonna have to cede a game sometime, and doing it at a time that allows him to rest the pen is as good as any.

If Straw gets on base here... His OPS will finally go back north of Austin Hedges.

EDIT. But he doesn't this time around.

Gaddis tied a Cleveland record by giving up 5 homers. Last Cleveland pitcher to do is was Tiant in 1969. If I told you before the game that Gaddis was going to tie a record last done by Tiant, I think everyone would have been happy.

So much for our momentum of a 6 game win streak. This kills all good vibes and more that we had from it (even compared to if we lost a competitive game today) because they were more worried about being swept on Sat. and what that could do to our team.
I don't think so. TMac and then Biebs will dagger the Twins. We may not agree with management's decision, but the upside is that we are in good shape for the next 8 games which are equally critical to this one.

A splitter without Bryan Shaw??? I thought Blake Parker was Stephan's mentor in regards to the splitter.
