Honestly not much you can do when you are down 2 starters and you have a doubleheader coming up this weekend.. just sucks that plesac is an asshole.. he may not be a good pitcher but at least he is MLB adequate unlike Gaddis

But, this game was more important to win than 1 of Sat DH. This is just pathetic ... at least on Sat, you had the opportunity to add a long-man like McCarty on adequate rest to burn for several innings to get through the game. Then after the game is done, bring up Curry to be the next long reliever. But, now Gaddis is out there just to save the pen, all alone.

People have literally posted the reason over and over. You can not agree with it, but you should understand it.

If you listen to Selby is Godcast they explain it pretty easily and logically. Going into this weekend, with a double header coming, they have to space out the kids so the bullpen doesn't get completely wrecked. If you have Mckenzie today, Gaddis go tomorrow, then Pilk Saturday, the bullpen could be toast before we even reach game 2 Saturday, let alone Sunday.

Gotta space out the kids.

So much for our momentum of a 6 game win streak. This kills all good vibes and more that we had from it (even compared to if we lost a competitive game today) because they were more worried about being swept on Sat. and what that could do to our team.
