Game Thread | Game #30 | Pacers @ Cavs | Dec. 16, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mitchell had a scary look in his eye in the 4th quarter. Great job by him. Mobley also with a lot of clutch defense, rebounds, passes, and a 3-pointer.

After that weird held ball where DM didn’t let go of the ball we thoroughly whooped them. That was with 9 mins to go and we outscored them by 15 or so after that.

Wonderful showing in the second half, why? Hardly saw Okoro and Stevens. Love's injury is an issue. His beat asset to the team is shooting the 3pt.
This. Cedi and LeVert played the majority of the minutes at the 3. They were positives because they can handle the ball and space the floor.

In fairness sometimes they look better with Stevens / Okoro than with LeVert alongside DM and DG. That being said, need Wade back. Wade, Cedi when he behaves - that's the good fit with the big 4.

Mitchell is already the 2nd best Cav ever. What a monster. That tie up really changed the tone of the game.

I blasted them all game, but that was an impressive 4th. Turned up the defense and Mitchell put them on his back until the Pacers broke.

JBB going to have to admit that Love is basically done. Maybe you sneak him minutes if the match ups are right, but he can not play against young, energetic teams. Also, you have to live with Cedi’s ups and downs because this team has to have his offensive punch off the bench. Can’t overload Mitchell and Garland with having to do absolutely everything to generate points.

What scrap from DG here late in this one.

I don’t care about shots that did or didn’t fall, he played his ass off.

He’s deserved some heat that he’s gotten lately, but not tonight. He deserves praise tonight.
He was serviceable

Lovely comeback! Cavs had the closers, the Pacers didn't. Mitchell wouldn't allow us to lose 28 points in the 2nd half, 41 total.

We gave up 51 points in the 2nd half, 18 in the 4th.

Great defense in the 4th!

Turning point for sure. Mitchell's a strong SOB.

Mathurin thought he could rip that ball from Mitchell and Mitchell didn't budge.

That Donovan not letting go of the ball changed the momentum. That corner 3 by Mobley was huge.

Not putting Okoro in second half and not letting Stevens play in second half much was necessary. Cedi and Levert was the spacing we needed at the 3 spot tonight.

Mobley had some great blocks and interior defense.

Donovan is a bad man. MVP

Donovan Mitchell is the real deal.

I'll give the Pacers and especially Haliburton some major props too. That kid is really good.

Collin Sexton still brings like 90 percent of what Mitchell does!!!

Lmao

Stop being cheap, Cavs! Sexton is out there wearing Armani on the end of that Jazz bench.
